This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website (dtlaartnight.com), participate in our events (including DTLA ArtNight and the Vendor Night Market at the Spring Arcade), or sign up to receive text messages from us.

• Business and participation details, such as your business name, social media handle, website, the category of what you make, written descriptions of your work or products, and which events or markets you have signed up for.
• Images you send us, such as photographs of your work or products uploaded with a vendor application.
• Communications, such as messages you send us via text, email, or our website forms.

Section 2How We Collect Information

We collect information when you:

• Fill out a signup or registration form on our website
• Apply to participate as a vendor at one of our events
• Opt in to receive text messages from us
• Contact us directly for support or inquiries

We collect it only when you give it to us. There is no account to create in order to read this site, and nothing on it collects information in the background — see Section 5.

We use the information we collect to:

• Communicate with you about event details, schedules, and logistics
• Send you updates related to your participation as a vendor
• Respond to your customer support inquiries
• Send text message updates and notifications, if you’ve opted in

Section 4Text Messaging Program

If you opt in to receive text messages from DTLA ArtNight:

• Consent: You provided your mobile number and affirmatively checked a consent checkbox on our website. That checkbox is separate from the one consenting to email, so agreeing to one is never agreeing to the other. Consent to receive text messages is never required to participate as a vendor.
• Message Frequency: You may receive up to 10 messages per month.
• Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• Opt-Out: You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also reply HELP for assistance.
• No Sharing for Marketing: We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Section 5Cookies, Tracking, and Do Not Track

We do not use analytics, advertising, or visitor-tracking software on this website. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising or social media pixel, and no session-recording or heatmap tool. We do not build profiles of visitors and we do not track you from one website to another.

The only cookies this website sets are the login cookies used by our own staff to sign in to the private administrative area. They are strictly necessary to keep an administrator signed in, they are not set for ordinary visitors, and they cannot be read by page scripts.

Do Not Track: Because we do not track visitors across websites, there is nothing for us to change in response to a browser “Do Not Track” signal. We do not authorize any third party to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across other websites through this one.

Two third-party services do load content on this website, and each may set its own cookies or storage that we neither control nor can see: the interactive map on our map page is embedded from Proxi, and our typefaces are served by Google Fonts. Loading either one discloses your IP address to that provider. Their own privacy practices are governed by their policies, not by this one.

Section 6How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers who help us operate our website, our events, and our messaging, solely to help us provide our services. These currently include our website host, the platform that receives and stores vendor applications, the spreadsheet and workflow tools that receive our website contact form, and our SMS platform provider.
• Legal authorities, if required by law, subpoena, or legal process.

We do not share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or list resellers, and we do not share it with our partner venues or sponsors for their own marketing.

Section 7Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Applications from past events are kept so we can recognize returning vendors; you can ask us to delete yours at any time under Section 8.

Section 8Your Choices and Rights

• You may unsubscribe from text messages at any time by replying STOP.
• You may stop receiving email from us by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing us at support@happeningindtla.com and asking to be removed.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at support@happeningindtla.com. This is also how you ask us to review or change information you have already given us. We will respond within 45 days.

California residents. We honor the requests above from anyone who asks, regardless of where they live and regardless of whether a particular California privacy statute applies to a business of our size. We will not deny you participation in an event, charge you a different price, or give you a lesser experience because you exercised a privacy right.

Section 9Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Section 10Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email us at support@happeningindtla.com and we will delete it.

Anyone under 18 needs the consent of a parent or guardian to register as a vendor or to opt in to text messages, as stated in ourTerms and Conditions. If you are a California resident under 18 and you have given us information or posted content through our website, you may request its removal by emailing us at support@happeningindtla.com.
